The Good Registry is located in Wellington, New Zealand on Wellington. The Good Registry is rated 5 out of 5 in the category civic & social organization in New Zealand. The Good Registry is revolutionising giving - for simplicity, social good and zero waste. We support a wider movement for a world where every gift counts. We all get gifts we love. We also all get gifts we don't want or need. We unwrap them, look grateful, bin the wrapping paper, and then they sit in cupboards, clutter shelves, get passed on, or thrown away. We love to give. This is despite the unmet need we see around us, and our desire to meet that need. The Good Registry offers another way to do that. We're the everyone wins of gifting. Our platform enables people to turn unwanted gifts into cash for charities. We offer two ways to do this: through registries and vouchers. www.thegoodregistry.com allows people likely to get presents for an event - like a birthday, Christmas, wedding, baby shower, bar or bat mitzvah - to invite their friends, family, colleagues and guests to instead give a donation to a charity of their choosing. We also offer Good Gift vouchers. You can buy someone a voucher, then they go onto www.thegoodregistry.com to choose the charity they wish to redeem it against. We developed this service due to demand, mostly from employers who want an option to #giftgood to staff, suppliers, customers, as speaker gifts etc. Charities do a massive amount of good supporting communities, the people who need the most help, and our planet. The Good Registry offers a free service to them that will increase their donations so they can do more good. The environment benefits from less production, transportation and disposal of unwanted gifts and their wrapping paper. We're a social enterprise, with all donations going into/being paid out from a charitable trust. Our values are: generosity; goodness; simplicity and celebration!
