*Update* This place is now closed. Shocking, absolutely shocking! They use to have really nice food but now there is no flavour and very watery. Very disappointed and will never eat at Tulsi again. There are much better places to eat around the CBD.

Watery and dissatisfying, I came for lunch and the curry was watered down and flavourless, there were 3 pieces of chicken in my butter chicken and the garlic nahn was boardline if it was garlic or not. I would expect good curry like they used to sell and not a watered down mess that even my dead grandma could make better. Not coming back again, but if you like terrible food then knock your socks off.
Tulsi in the BNZ Building on Willis Street has the worst Indian!! Watery, no favour & very disappointing. Just Terrible and I will never eat from this eatery again.
Good variety of options, limited vegan and vegetarian. generous portions. Limited desserts. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Pretty reasonable priced too. Can get really busy at lunch when there are offers on
Ambience is good. The restaurant is in the heart of Wellington - Cuba street which has a very lively atmosphere. However the taste of food was not so great as expected. Not satisfactory.
TERRIBLE, dreadful, frightful, ghastly, grisly, awful, HIDEOUS, horrible, horrid, horrific, horrifying, nightmare, shocking, terrific. Yes I copied almost all synonymous of Terrible. This is the service that I got in this restaurant. My food was okay. Not worthy. Never ever going back to this restaurant.
When I'm in the mood for disappointment I'll head on down to Tulsi. The water they sell here is the most delicious curry water in town, although it would be better if they served it in a polystyrene cup with a straw instead of on a plate for people on the go.
