I'm a professional photographer and have shot at Black walnut venue. Not only are the staff super accommodating and friendly but the venue itself is stunning. The grounds are incredible and there are so many amazing photo locations on site. Definitely would recommend Black Walnut Venue if you're needing a wedding venue in the Tauranga region. Attended a wedding here, and had an excellent experience. Ample parking and top notch facilities. The catering and bar staff were particularly good. The setting is lovely too, and if the weather turns bad there's an indoor venue which is just as good. Thoroughly recommended.
Perfect day spent there when my nephew go married
We celebrated our wedding at the Black Walnut recently and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The venue is simply stunning, and even better at night time when all lit up. There are loads of places on the property to celebrate (and photograph) all the special moments; we absolutely loved staying at the house for two nights; the best thing though is the service we received from staff members Robyn and Enrico. They went out of their way to make sure everything flowed well on the day, and the presentation of the tables, the serving of the food and drinks, the music and all our guests were supremely taken care of.
This place is perfection! We could not be happier with choosing BW, it was the first venue we visited and immediately fell in love. BW is set on beautiful grounds giving you plenty of options for ceremony spots & photo opportunities and we definitely got to make the most of it! There were also great options for us to choose from for the details like cutlery, charger plates, candles, cake stands etc. to get the look & colour palette we wanted. Dan and Mandie were great to deal with, very friendly and helpful; both in the lead-up to our big day and the big day itself. We stayed in the on-site accommodation and loved it, beautiful place to spend the night with my girls and get ready on the morning of our wedding. Photos by our photographer Jackson Bright
We would highly recommend anyone planning a wedding to consider Black Walnut Venue. Dan and Mandy have created an incredible venue, with so many options for ceremony in any type of weather. The whole environment is relaxed and fun for both the bridal party and guests. An incredible place to get married!
