Very clean and tidy. Helpful management. Good price. We enjoyed the nice BBQ area. No aircon, but fans were provided.
SUPER RUDE STAFF! I had to stay here overnight due to a car breakdown as a courtesy of AA insurance. Arrived at midnight after a stressful evening. Staff waited for me at the door, no hi or hello, didn't even bother to show me my room, was very rude, used profanity. I had to lock and unlock my car to get out valuable things like computer, and she was yelling at me cause my car was making a small noise when it gets locked and unlocked. I had to unlock it a couple of times, to unpack my things. I understand it was late and people were sleeping, but the noise was not loud and she was super rude towards me, and honestly made me feel super uncomfortable. Motel facilities overall were ok, nothing flashy.
140 for 3 of us per night in a shared room. The Queen bed was fine. However, the 'single' bed was barely tall enough for me and I'm only 5'2. It was also very uncomfortable and seemed to be some sort of pull out due to the very obvious springs. A bit of a shabby spot which is fine, but not for the price we paid in my opinion. Would look elsewhere in future.
Very friendly owner and staff. Good location. Good room. One thing to note: there was no air conditioning in our room and from the look of the cinder block walls, little to no insulation either. It can get pretty toasty in the Bay of Plenty during summer. An AC fit out is probably not that cheap but I think the owners should consider it. We had a lovely stay
I always stay at Tourist Court if I can lovely new owners who went the extra mile and put the heater on for me!! Clean friendly and they care about your needs highly recommended
I booked my son an daughter n law a room .. New owners. Pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of the room however I'm not a fan of bedspreads. Basically, being a cleaner myself, I know these blankets do not get washed immediately after use. Else the owners seemed very friendly an accommodating.
Roadside noise is an issue apart from that all good.
