I don't have any personal experience, but am disappointed at the Principal's action to give parents/caregivers the option to have their children/guardians not sing the NZ anthem. These people have chosen/desired to live in NZ, maybe even become citizens, so they should also sing our Anthem. That is respect for their new country.

Dumb And not just that the principle there is horrible and doesn't use common sense I would recommend sending your child somewhere else if you want them to actually learn something. one more thing they don't handle things properly.
