Nice selection of above average quality clothing, more mature brands and pretty good suits for men. Lots of other stuff, it's very much an everything store. Some nice staff, at least to me. Worth checking out if you need most things

Everytime I go it's always the one lady who asks if I need any help. She is the reason I go back as I get very little acknowledgment from the other staff. I think she works in the clothing department and she has an unusual accent. Great service from her, I wish the other staff were as attentive. She could teach them a thing or two about customer service.

Always great customer service, the staff friendly and make you feel welcomed and very helpful, but my favourite is Marcia whom always seems to know all my needs in the skin care range and other products non skin related!

My friend and I went to Farmers Whanganui today, and had very different experiences. My mate was helped by fantastic staff who assisted her to find the product she was looking for, and were consistently friendly and polite. I took my purchase to the counter and was treated rudely. I had not brought my store card with me and, instead of the assistant looking up my details, she skipped the process altogether. When I asked about adding my purchase she said I was too late. She handed me my purchase saying, “We’ve got no bags,” even though I could see bags under the opposite counter, and left me to walk out of the store carrying a bra for the world to see. Not a good experience, Farmers.
