Just went to get things for lunch. I chose a bacon and egg and vegetables pie. The slice I got was almost too big for me and I am quite greedy. I also ordered chocolate eclairs which are also huge. We bought chicken salad, and raw fruit salad, with savouries and chocolate cream rolls for the kids, as well as cold drinks. The guy who served us was very friendly and helpful, even slicing some things for us. The premises are tidy and clean. The food was good and showed us why Fitzies has such a great reputation locally. Hungry, and don't want to sit in a restaurant and pay high prices? You can even eat on site at their cafe, or take home, or set up a picnic. Well worth a visit, or several, but check out the size of the portions as well as the size of your hunger and your stomach before buying.

I was in the cafe 10 minutes ago, I was served grudgingly, by a girl with dark hair in a ponytail tail, and glasses, she obviously didn't want to serve me, and the minute she had put it in eftpos, she walked away, to carry on chatting with an older lady, I could easily have walked out without paying, she didn't care. Your bakery has a great name, surely you can get better staff than her, I don't usually complain, but she was downright rude, .... Clare
