Stunning Atene skyline track (can get very muddy after rain), the Whanganui river. (make sure to get a kayak and paddle down). Lots to do here with relatively little people. Pics from Atene Skyline track.

The three day canoe trip was amazing , easy paddling, lots to see and do. The abundant kowahi trees and tui's were a hit , especially enjoyed the dawn chorus. Tested out some new technology for next years Americas cup,.

Beautiful patk, we did a great tour with Whanganui River Adventures that took us up the river to have lunch on the bridge to nowhere and then back down with a 2hr canoe included. Would definitely recommend!!!
A great road that runs beside the river and a great place to get away from busy life
