A beach like no other! My daughter told us that this was voted one of the top 10 beaches in the world. I was curious to check out why. It did not disappoint. The beach can be accessed only by walk, about 30 minutes. To reach there from the car park, I had to wade through shallow water, then walk to sand, then on rocks, then through a forest till finally arriving at the secluded and sheltered beach. There is plenty of shade for those who like it, and plenty of sand for everyone. No boats or any other machine activity. Just humans and nature. There is also a side walk for the more adventurous which takes you to the top of the hill. The walk is steep in places but the views are rewarding. Not for everyone, though.

Amazing beach, well worth the 30 minute walk. If dry then track is good but if its been rain take good walking shoe, plus you need to walk over rocks. Take what you need with you. Neat little caves to explore. The look out is worth the scary hike up as the view is spectacular. Another one of Coromandle little gems.

This is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been. There are some huge trees growing right be the beach which provide great shade. It is a little bit of a walk to get there so wear good shoes. One of the best beaches in the Coromandel.

Beautiful beach, with a small hike/climb to get there. Recommend bringing a picnic. This

extremely sunny. Good selection of waves and water. Many spots to lie and read. Excellent rock formations. Difficult to access if you have mobility issues.

A pristine beach. White sand. Backed by bush and hills. Great for a swim, walk or relax. Interesting rocks. Very quiet and secluded. 30-40 minute walk here one way from the car park at the end of the road. I recommend you wear waterproof shoes or walking sandals as have to walk through river (even at low tide) and over rocks. Enjoyed the walk here as we had time but not sure it's worth all the hype to come all the way here especially for it. It's simply another beautiful beach!

Only 30min walk from carpark. Walking shoes recommended since there are a lot of rocks to get over at the beginning. Tide doesn’t matter. Beach was nice. But the massive rock you climb to the top has amazing views! A must!

worthy of the trip. People say take shoes but me and the family went barefoot and it was sweet as... Kiwi up my bros.
