Easy stroll across the bridge from Cafler Park. Calm enjoyable space to wander around in the cool fernery or on the dry conservatory to spend 1/2 an hour. Free entry and wheelchair accessible with a public toilet outside the front doors. Or you can bring you Chess pieces and have a game in the quiet of the front garden listening to the birds

Wow! What a gem! Awesome collection big ferns in particular. Shame about all the weedy palms planted out front but maybe they can remove them now that the nikau palms are a good size?

We love this place. Our two grandchildren in this city have been taken there literally dozens of times as small children learning to love nature.
