Winchester Motorcamp is a good place to stay for a time or a time and a half. Lovely spacious place for that larger than normal motorhome. Enjoyed friendly people.

We stayed at a non powered site in sept/2020 for 15 for 2ppl. Very basic facilities but fair for the price. Unlimited hot shower. A few long term stays that made the place look a little messy but everyone we met seemed to keep to themselves. Lovely managers and their little old dog. The train rail is really close so it can get quite loud. Good to spend the night for cheap price! Recommend!

Winchester Motor Camp is an iconic Kiwi camping ground with super friendly staff/manager, gorgeous old fashioned showers, laundry and toilets...all very clean, kitchen fitted out with everything and a great recycling system. We camped here on our road trip south and then again on the return. Filled with genuine kiwi characters and some discerning overseas travellers it was a highlight of our holiday. So happy there are still places like this in NZ. Very reasonably priced.
