Great friendly family Park. We had 5 powered campsites (4 families) and friends booked into a cabin. This is our 3rd year spending Christmas/ New Year and the facilities only seem to get better and better with each visit. Staff are AWESOME - super friendly and accommodating. The Laundry, kitchens, showers and toilets were always clean and tidy. The kids love the Tennis Court, Games room and the pool is great if u have littlies or if u love relaxing in and around a pool. Beach was literally 30 second walk from our tent. Reception even offer gelatos AND coffee which was awesome!! Close to Opotiki so if you need to shop there is a New World, a Liquor store and pharmacies to name a few places. I cannot fault their facilities and highly recommend Island View Holiday Park - forgot to mention there are kayaks too
Our stay at Island View was excellent. The prices were well below others but the facilities way better. On the beach, pool, tennis court,showers all free. The facilities cater for all single travelers to families joining up for a break. Every one very friendly and Lorne will make you most welcome. We went there for 1 night and stayed for 3. We will definitely come back.
First rate camping ground. Everything is provided, with a cool theme running through amenities, gardens and seating. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at the Island View Holiday Park over the weekend participating in the jazz and blues festival. This is a truly unique and fabulous resort in a beautiful setting run by lovely people. Highly recommended!
Pretty neat camp ground. Grounds are quite spacious. Bathrooms aren't too bad, showers are hot and good water pressure. They have batista coffee for the mornings and basic necessities available. Tennis court is flash and pool area is decent. Would recommend staying here.
