If you like bugs or maggots in your meal, congratulations, you can find them at this restaurant. Because that’s what we saw on our meal, we try to communicate this issue and come up a solution, but the owner refuse to apologize for their mistake, and We were forced to leave. In the meantime, we were trying to discuss solutions with them calmly and peacefully, without making any unreasonable actions or words , but the owner has been yelling at us all the time and keep saying “ what do you want?”. I mean seriously? What do I want? I want your apologies with good attitudes, not like “I can offer you a discount for all dishes, ok? You happy? The owner of this restaurant is simply unreasonable. She is constantly making excuses for their mistakes and is not really apologizing, you can found many comments below that made by other customers. I already report this issue to the food council and I believe this is the Worst restaurant in New Zealand. Not even worth 1 star lmao.

I found this great little restaurant today and was surprised by an array tastes that exploded in my mouth. The service was excellent and the atmosphere relaxing. Their was a huge selection of starters and mains. All of the dishes were reasonably priced. I highly recommend checking this restaurant out.
Nice place to have dinner, the waitress so nice. I order a big bowl of fish and tofu soup and she told me how big this bowl ( She thought I can’t finish ). Actually, this bowl so big and taste nice. The beef noodle yummy like fresh noodle and always has water top up at table.
As a restaurant, pls organize you service. This is my first time come here to eat and when we find a insect from one dish. We just want to solve this problem but the owner have the Extremely bad attitude，even not say sorry for us. Really bad experiences from here, she even refuse us to print the all receipts. You can re-see your CCTV to check what we say, we are not saying you dish all have insects. You attitude so rudely, that we not accept to only cancel the dish. Even one star I don’t want to give
These dishes are really local. I must say that I have come many times and ordered many different dishes, they had never disappointed me. The service is also very good. The manager is very nice and open-minded. Highly recommended.

Good Sichuan restaurant. The presentation of the dishes is not necessarily the most polished, but the flavors are on point. The portions are reasonable given the price, and the hostess is very nice (she was studying English as I walked in). I would certainly come back, and any lovers of Sichuan food should give this a place a try.
Free side dishes of pickled cabbage and panfried peanuts, with one free refill. Soy milk is also one the house with one free refill. Most of the dishes are spicy, and not Kiwi spicy. Most suitable for a large group. Decent price large portion, usually not packed. Parking on their side of the road are okay, even if it has other restaurants logo printed on the spot.
