This is one of my favourite Auckland walks. There is free Parking under the harbour bridge, and you can easily take a Lime Scooter or an Onzo bike or just walk along the boardwalk. At one end is the harbour bridge. Along it's length is a Marina, water, a beach, cafes & a couple restaurants. At the other end are playgrounds, bars more marinas, it's just a great place to go for a stroll! Totally flat - a great place to roll and learn to cycle (if your kids aren't too scared about riding off into the water!)

Great place to stretch your legs. Much improved over the past few years. Good place for a run too. Go out along the waterfront, under the bridge up to Point Erin, then down the stairs and the back along the sheltered path along the high way (which with the screening and landscaping/greenery is way nicer than you'd believe being so near to the high way) and then back to the viaduct via Jacob's ladder

This is one of many heritage walks in the city. This one is on the Auckland's original shoreline. The starting point it at Point Erin Park and the end point is in Parnell. Many historic attractions and features are also there on the walk. The part from Point Erin Park to Victoria Park is cool and one gets to walk along side the motorway. It takes less than an hour to walk this stretch. The views of the city and the harbour from certain points early in the morning and at dusk are magnificent. A must do while in the area.
