These guys are fantastic, I’ve always dealt with Northshore branch, but they didn’t have the truck I needed so was passed to New Lynn branch. I’ve said on their NS review that it was fast.. nooo.. now, they offer online check-in so I can complete my docs, licence copy and insurance application online so easily, so took me 2 mins in and out to check the truck and out the gate and dealing with very friendly people last Saturday morning. Drop off took the same amount of time. give them a go you won’t regret it. Cheers team

Such great service and a fantastic 3 tonne truck hire to a gal who has only driven a campervan once, 20 years ago. I was extremely nervous about hiring a truck, but with Covid levels tipped to increase, I wasn't risking a delay to moving to our dream home. It went like clock-work, from the moment I called to enquire, to taking details, and filling out the on-line booking form, picking up the truck, driving it (OMG, so easy and I felt so confident) I even backed into our driveway with ease and didn't need to use the reversing camera as the side mirrors were so good. I did have on-hand some professional packers who had blankets and knew how to stack with tetris precision, which meant I could do a complete floor to ceiling load and entire truck full. It drives better full than empty and the move was perfect, no breakages and we did the job within timeframes. I'm so happy with Auckland Vehicle Rentals, I've used them several times for work, but this was the first personal use trip and I'm stoked. thanks so much! Very grateful.

Don't bother with these guys. When being told directly that I needed the truck for a very specific date to run down to Taranaki and back again in one day, they said it would be fine. Got the payment to them. Then they decided to lease it out to someone else instead. Then they didn't want to run one of their other trucks to their other branch for me for their screw up. So I wont be using them ever and I do not recommend them based on their lack of satisfactory customer service.

We,ve hired few moving trucks in the past years but this company by far is the best! Excellent customer service! and most importantly their trucks are not run down piece of junks and most of them on automatic transmission. Makes movingly less stressful.

I had a very pleasant experience renting a cargo van from them. Helpful, friendly and honest people. Even though I cracked the wing mirror they just charged me the price of a mirror (not even labour cost!) and saved me using the insurance and pay for excess fee.
