I took my newly purchased 2014 TSI to Brodie European, upon recommendation from a friend. I wanted a good service as the previous owner hadn't done one, and I was concerned about the car shuddering and idling low, as well as having a persistent rattle. After a full day with the car they said they didn't pick up on any of these issues and offered to keep it overnight to run more checks. After another day, still nothing and they said the car was supposed to run like this. The bill came to a whopping 1200, virtually just for a basic service (no replacement parts etc). I took the car to another mechanic who identified straight away that the shudder was because the car needed a whole new clutch. 3,500 later.....not impressed. And they found the rattle straight away. The Brodie European mechanics were dismissive and exorbitantly expensive. Definitely won't be coming back.

Got personally referred to B.E to get gr8 service @ gr8 prices & to my horror Brodies cost to service my vw was 1oo more than conti'z & gillyz service deptz. So after I had read so many reviews on how B.E is awesome at this & fantastic at that I really felt like they shud of been 100 bucks under wat your branded dealer was goin to charge you.
