I went there to get the service done this Monday, mainly to check the conditions of the battery and tyres. The technician told me four lights were out and I paid 40 bucks to replace them. And he told me I didn’t need to replace the battery and types and I could replace them next time. But today, I couldn’t start my car and called AA for the road service (cost me 100bucks since I was not a member). The mechanic checked the battery and told me the battery was faulty. As a professional mechanic, you are supposed to state this problem to me before I was trapped on road. Reply: Now, I changed the rating from 1 star to 2 stars (5 stars and for your help this Monday and 0 star for your attitude today). I understand that you are mechanics and human beings, but do you know the reason why I went to your place for service, because you are an expert, I choose to trust you! If the battery went flat one month later, it might be my problem. But it happened only 6 days later, and I never forget to turn off the lights, as you said the CCA rating was half on Monday, but today (second pic), it dropped to 40% which means 10% decrease in 6 days, a brand new battery will become flat in 2 months, which is impossible. If my math is good, the reading will become 0 in the next 24 days. If you recommended me to replace the battery on Monday, I would of course do that, just like the light bulbs. Also, the AA mechanic told me the battery is too old (2008) and the average battery life is 5 years. If you share this information to me, I will also definitely replace it. If you think AA gave me an inaccurate report just aim to sell their battery, I am more than happy to provide more details about today's service.
Highly recommend Mechanics On Grafton. Went there for the first time yesterday. They did my warrant and a full service. Was very happy with the price and quality of service. Sam is a great mechanic. Honest, hard working and knows his stuff. I've been going to him for the maintainence of my vehicle for a few years now and will continue to do so for many years to come. He isn't going to try anything dodgey to get paid more. Great guy. highly recommended. Cheers Sam!!
Had these guys replace my timing belt and rocker cover gasket. They gave good advise and did not try and over sell. Repairs went fast, delivered the same day. No wait for a booking.
Dropped my car in with the team at mechanics on grafton for a cambelt; they were friendly, very helpful when booking and very reasonably priced! If you are a looking for great service without breaking the bank this the garage for you! Will be back again when my car needs some love!

Was in contact with Sam and the Receptionist (Kelly I believe) to replace my wheel bearing that I didn’t have the tools to DIY myself. As a student I contacted approximately 6-7 different shops to find the cheapest option understanding that I may sacrifice customer service but not with Sam and Mechanics on Grafton! Awesome guy, incredibly affordable, quality fast service and I will be a repeat customer/referring their business.
