This place is wonderful! Receptionists was kind. I don't know why this place gets bad reviews, BUT there was a couple before me that were really rude to the receptionists, they were shouting so I heard they were late to their appointment and were demanding to be seen. Like, umm excuse me, I was here on time. I DO NOT want to wait because you were not here on time. Sort yourselves out and be more responsible. thank you!

Poor service. Receptionist was very rude. Just before my appointment the receptionist said she wanted to see my passport or visa. I showed her my NZ passport copy on my email but she then wouldn't allow my partner to enter as he didn't have a mask. He had to run down & buy a new one. The manager came but she was even more rude & literally told us that we can't be there & do the scan. I'm definitely never going back.

This place is pathetic and the worse customer service and the lady on the reception is rude af and she dont have any work ethics plus i found her discriminating particularly the Indian community. This should stop asap she is a total disaster and dont care about anyone. She thinks she is the boss and doesn’t treat anyone with respect and don’t understand anyone’s problem and issues. This really bad for a place like this as its a healthcare service.

Receptionists were really friendly, as well as our sonographer. Our baby took a long time to get in the right position for the nuchal and our sonographer was really patient and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The receptionist got attitude. My wife was told only 5 minutes before the appointment that she is not allowed to bring any child with her. When she tried to explain to the receptionist, the receptionist was rude. The manager then came and she was even more rude. Overall, not even 1 star... Not recommend at all...

I would never recommend this centre and New Lynn center if you are after pregnancy related scans. I had my 12 Week NT scan done at Ponsonby Ultrasound in July and it was fantastic experience. Same time I booked for 20 week Anatomy scan there for 2nd September. However, later due to Covid level 3 that happened in August, I got a message from Ponsonby that their clinic going to remain closed until further notice and they moved my appointment at Horizon - New Lynn. At New Lynn - The Horizon bad experience started.The receptionist was unwelcoming. BUT the worst was the technology Horizon uses. You could hardly see anything clear ! It is so OLD machine...may be more that 20 yr old...if you are doing your scan with Horizon - I would say don't waste the 25 for USB to get the pics...it's all going to be black screen with some white patches...not a single thing we can see clearly. I rejected to pay 25 after the scan as the quality of images so bad and anyway anatomy scan couldn't be completed so I had to do a follow-up in 2 weeks. I tried to book follow-up with Ponsonby but they were still unsure when the clinic would open so I booked with Sylvia park . Again - faced same thing. Most unwelcoming Receptionist. I am surprised they hire such people at reception ! Again the technology - same worst as new lynn.. OLD and you wouldn't enjoy the experience ! Not a single thing you can see clear or enjoy ! This is my second child and my first child was born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2012 and their machine was high-tech even that time... Same on Horizon who can't invest in good technology ! They still couldn't finish my Anatomy scan ( I am guessing may be the OLD machine makes it very hard for sonographer to see and measure what they needed to ) so they gave me a 3rd follow up which I finished today. All same as last experience. Highly disengaged Reception staff and the sonographer was nice lady this time but the bad technology leaves you disappointed ! Regards, Suchita
