Not entirely sure if this is an authentic traditional Japanese restaurant, they seemed to serve typical dishes. A group of us went in for lunch and the place was empty which isn't a biggie but the service was non existent only time we got served was when we ordered, when our food arrived and when we paid. I was a little surprised when we arrived to a lunch menu that only showed half of what they have on their main website, was looking forward to the Ramen soup and Okonomiyaki which is not available on their lunch menu.

Great service, delicious food. Update (07/09/2017) - Just found out that Kibo is currently closed for renovations and will be reopening towards the end of September 2017.

Seriously!? Just had the worst experience at this restaurant. The chef has some attitude problem. Can't handle critics of the quality of his food. Edamame was served to us a bit under we asked nicely. But then he came back very defensively saying "seriously?! You don't eat this with the skin just the inside" OMG he's trying to tell us how to eat Edamame after eating this entree for years!
