Had high hopes because of the high rating this eatery has didn't quite meet expectations but still a lovely place to eat. Dining outside is lovely and the staff are great. I did wonder if the rice was actual Japanese rice, seem more like jasmin rice which would be a shame if the case. Bring out the candles guys for that romantic feel

This our most visited Japanese Restaurant since we moved down here to Whanganui in 2015. It's always the best place to go in town when we want to treat ourselves or to celebrate for an special occasion xoxo best service here, very polite staffs and warm welcoming from thr owner. Highly recommended they have the widest range of food varieties from their Menu too. My favourite is their Beef Tataki ️ lovely atmosphere dining outside
Just as great as always,fresh,good flavours,nicely presented and meals that dont break the bank.
We were traveling through and spotted this place while walking through town and came back dinner. It's obviously a favorite with locals, they were greeted with gusto as they came in. Good food and plenty of it.

Overall nice, though the desserts could have been more creative. Food was good, and the atmosphere was excellant. Would recommend.
