We have, over the years now bought 3 pairs of boots and one backpack from Living Simply. This time I waited ages until my next visit to Auckland just to buy tramping boots from them. The staff really know their stuff, know how to fit boots properly, and they have a good range (including wide fittings). Literally, I wouldn’t buy tramping boots anywhere else in NZ. :-)

Great service. The dude was extremely clued up and made my boot buying experience a pleasure. 20 cheaper than down the road too. A year down the line these boots have walked a long way and are still every bit as comfortable as the day I got them!

Went into the shop for a pair of boots and left knowing we wouldn't return. The lady who helped us was borderline rude and unhelpful, she was unaware or purposefully not answer our questions. Feel if you have other options, go there instead.
