I went to Torpedo7 to purchase the Rockwood canvas tent and entered the store hoping there would be a good deal on surfboards too. I was helped by a lovely and knowledgeable young lady who knew her stuff when it came to surfboards. She offered me a great price on the board I wished to purchase since I had already decided on the tent, I didn’t have to ask for it. Because of her friendly, respectful and knowledgeable service I ended up buying an additional item. So, thank you for your help! I will add some photos of the #Rockwood since there are hardly any available online. Great spacious store with excellent service!
Ordered a bike online. I tried calling about 6 or so times and couldn't get through. Left a message on voice messages and no one called back. Finally called through to the manager who answered and confirmed eta. Very happy with the bike and the service at the bike depot was great when picked up. Mostly my experiences have been good in the past.
Excellent service by Nick. We went in for a SUP. He was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Great work!! Ask for Nick next time you're there.
I bought this table/chair off from Trademe for 52 and guess what? Torpedo 7 sold exactly same product with torpedo 7 logo on it for RRP 299! I inspected both products and again exactly same products with same 1 year warranty. haha I am scared because I spent about 700 to 800 already over the month in Torpedo7, hopefully I was not ripped off too much.

Bought a new bike here on boxing day. Service from Andy was pretty good. 3 weeks later put 3 bikes in for service. 2 were basic service only and 1 was a mid level service. Told Doug needed pick up 4 days later before heading to Rotorua. No issues but said would make contact if any problems. Turned up at 5pm day of pick up. New bike was done. No surprises there. Other basic service was done but only got a message at 4pm saying it needed parts and the mid level service not even started. Doug as bike shop manager was gone and other bike shop people were very nonchalant- it is what it is! Yep and I won't use them again - coz it is what it is. Under promise and over deliver - customer service 101 people.
Looking for a sleeping bag at the Albany store, kelvin was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions to help purchase a suitable one. Awesome store
