Such a special experience. We were hosted by Vick and spent a couple hours just chatting and enjoying some amazing wine. Best cellar door experience we’ve had in a while! Ended up leaving with half a case!

Maybe my favorite wine experience in years of travel. Beautiful scenery, exceptional wines (cab franc in particular), and Vic is a gem of a human. I simply cannot recommenced this place more highly.

Next door to Wairarapa West and the same terraced soils from the Wairarapa Valley The name is a nod to a brief sliver of geologic time between the Cretaceous and Tertiary periods resulting in prehistoric deposition of bones that helped make this terroir. Sixty six million years ago a cosmic event caused an extinction of 3/4 of all life on this planet including the dinosaurs. Today these grapes absorb these ancient bones in this present climate to produce rich flavoured wines that are distinct and enjoyable.

Very nice tasting. They make two stales from grapes varieties. So it is nice to compare the two. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. And of course great wines

I don't often rate things online but The Bone Line falls comfortably into that exception. From the price point to the homely feel of the "tasting room", everything was on point (especially their Pinot).
