Had a great experience with camp n tramp! Ross was super helpful and has a large selection of good quality gear. We only had two weeks in New Zealand so getting all our gear at one place fast and for a fair price was a big deal for us! There is even a shopping center 3 minutes from his house so you can really have a one stop shop before you hit the road! His place is also only 20-30 minutes away from the airport. Easy to find! We had one small problem with an item and he made it super easy to solve the problem without a hassle. Something I find very important!! Highly recommend. Thanks Ross!

Ross has a huge range of gear -- anything and everything you need for Camping and Taking in NZ. Really easy to communicate with by email and phone -- and, for me, a far better idea to hire decent gear on arrival, than to have to lump second rate stuff of my own around the world for just a few days use on a long trip

If you are looking to hire mountaineering stuff, give this a try. Expensive, but should be able to provide all under one roof.
