A favourite stop to look over the firth and gulf, a great setting for that holiday or family photo
like
4 stars for the views. Certainly worth a quick stop to take a break from driving and admire the views back to Coromandel town and all the way to Whitianga too! This is also the start of a 1.5km walking track that may well be worth doing.. but will try that next time when the weather is better.
I made it too the top ..a quick 15min climb up steps 400mtrs. With my ole heart beating. Thumpitythump. Great views both east n west coasts.

Stunning, simply stunning. Walk to get there is quite long and steep at parts but well worth the effort
Always a magnificent view from the top of the hill looking over Coromandel and over to Auckland in the distance
Very technical terrain. Much of the track is in a very rough state and there are many very steep sections. Great track for very keen trail runners and hikers.
Spectacular views. Well worth the climb.
