Website looks great but they do not put their return policies in plain sight. You really have to search for them and when you found them: they say that they do not refund money back. Even if you made an order mistake and wanting that changed on the same day. Credit store is obviously not the same as getting your money back. In my opinion they should look at their policy or make the policies very clear, when you are ordering. Because if I had known the policies beforehand, I would have thought twice before ordering. Communication with Mike was great, nice guy and I understand he has to live up with the terms and policies of the company.

What a disappointment. Wish I'd read the reviews on Google before ordering from Gearshop, as this appears to be a common theme. Slow dispatch, slow delivery, poor customer service. Order arrived after I'd left for my hike (12 days after I'd ordered it, dispatched 7 working days after I'd emailed to ask where it was). Doesn't seem interested in any goodwill or future business, just keeping my cash for equipment I ultimately had to buy elsewhere. Piece of advice, customer sentiment about your business is more important that pointing at your terms of service (which you breached anyway). Recommend avoiding, certainly a lot of other great NZ outdoor businesses to spend your cash with.

Normally I do not give bad reviews. Today is 6th business day and 9th day overall, item is not yet shipped. Good luck for everyone who have ordered Christmas gifts. Should have checked reviews before ordering. Increasing the stars to 3 as someone answered at 11 AM and ordered shipped on 6th day.. interesting reply.. the courier delivered in a day... Shipping was not on time. People pay additional cost for shipping and expect service within the specified time frames.

The good: slightly cheaper price compared to some other outdoor stores. The bad: 1. Order took 14 days to arrive and it was only shipped after I sent them an email asking about my order. 2. One of the items I purchased (gaiters) ended up being a different product (older model with different fabric). 3. The topomap that I purchased has rips. 4. They promised to send me the correct gaiters when I complained but over a month later, no gaiters have been sent and no emails/calls.

The things I order delivered a-bit late as said on the website which states that 3-5 working days. But it took Gearshop 7 working days to deliver. Otherwise everything is really good from their services. Good customer service also.
