Good for kids
No wheelchair-accessible entrance
Nice hike up a steep hill to the remains of an old Gold mine. Great views of the valley and the mountains. If you are in a two wheel drive you might have to park before fording a rocky stream depending on the water level. It’s worth continuing after you get to the top further down to the creek.

Stunning views half way up, kids loved exploring the old mine at the top. Was a bit tough for our 4 year old, but he made it most of the way with a little piggy back assist
Travel north east from Genorchy on a bitumen road. Take a right turn on Reeves Road which turns into a graded gravel road. Travel for xx minutes xx kilometres and the trail is to your right. National Park sign says 2 to 3 hours. Steep climb up to remains. There are three pieces of mine equipment and spectacular vista's of the Reeves Valley and mountains. One kilometre past the enterance to the walk, on the same road there is the remains of the mine"s gold concentrator 30 metres off the road.
Great walk, interesting site to visit
Great little hike, awesome view and cool little area to explore and see old abandoned equipment
Great walk and history
Ça grimpe pas mal sur le début. Pas forcément accessible à cause de l'eau. Mais c'est vraiment sympa.
