Beautiful grounds and great owners. Lovely tea and food. The Chinese dumplings were exquisite! Will definitely be back.

Wish we had seen the reviews before we came here. The villa is beautiful, and if you were with a big group and could sit outside it would be fine. It was just my partner and I, no one else was there. We thought it was expensive for a tasting and they give give you an a4 sheet explaining the wines. Don't come here for the experience. In a big group, sitting out side it would be fine.

Great friendly service, lovely venue, nice wine & platter - thanks!

We were greeted by Jimmy and his wife, service was excellent and we had the place to ourselves as it's mid-week and winter. The wine tasting was good, the Rose was interesting and I grabbed a bottle of the pinot noir to take home. Would have been nice to have had a white wine included in the tasting... But...we were happy based on the fact that they were originally set up to make reds. Our experience was greatly improved by out interactions with the owner Jimmy and his love for Nz and its people. Don't expect anything too fancy, but it's stunning, the owners are friendly and provide great service, and the homestead is beautiful.

Really tired and needs a lot of updating. Wine wasn’t bad. Cheese platter was shockingly bad and overpriced - suggested it might have been nicer to present it on a platter as opposed to a dinner plate! Sad as beautiful location .

Beautiful Villa but strange experience with no explanation or the wines and vineyard backstory. All of the vines have been removed but I couldn't get an explanation of why. It looks like this vineyard was sold earlier in the year which must explain why this vineyard has gone downhill. Wish we'd spent our time and money at one of the other amazing vineyards in the area!

Friendly service. Wines were ok and seating area pleasant. Unfortunately all the vines gone (March 2020).

Final stop here was a pleasant finishing point on our tour around Martinborough. Smaller than some of the other vineyards nearby with a smaller selection of wine, however enjoyed all what we tried especially the sparkling Rosè which we opted for. Chose to have the Chinese dumplings on the menu which were excellent. Nice grounds with plenty of outdoor seating as well as a stunning building. Host was friendly and attentive.
