Well worth the walk

It's such a great hike! It took about 6 hours round trip. In the snow it was quite difficult but if there is no snow it would be more doable, still challenging but doable. The 360 view was incredible! It's definitely worth doing!
Isthmus Peak is a well marked trail. I thought the views at Roy's Peak were much more glorious.
Great spot to hike towards, it was a bit windy when we where there, but the view was amazing. Not many people there
They recommend 3-5 h return. We needed 5.5 h in total. It is really steep all the time. But it is worth it. You can see two lakes from the top. One on each side of the mountain.
Hard, but beautiful trail. Definitely plan for a 6-8 hour experience and multiple "I think that's the top!" mistakes. Peak has 360 degrees viewing of both lakes. Grass and brush are up there to hide from the wind while you take a break.
Loved it, ofcourse we didn't go for a walk, but a small halt during our drive was a must or I shud say we were forced to stop.
This Carpark needs an overhaul. It is really too small with no facilities. A public toilet would be a great idea as well as a proper car park off the road. Cars park here and the overflow into the main road is sometimes very dangerous. There also needs to be warning signs for motorists that there could be pedestrians around. Isthmus Peak is a brilliant hike however!
