Nice quiet patch. Competitively priced for area. Quaint and basic room, but on a long journey everything you need, neat, tidy and clean. Good kitchen facilities, free WiFi, and super service. I had a last minute wave of tiredness after 1030pm being on the road since 8am, so decided to stop. Rang them till they picked up and they kindly rocked down in pjs and gave me a room. Top notch service.

Clean cosy room. Comfortable beds. Arrived late, left early, no problems. Lounge looked great but we didn't have time to use. Only issue was in twin room, one bed kept on getting in the way of bathroom door closing. Would stay again.

I checked in earlier in the day, I then returned to the river to carry on with a fantastic day's fishing. When returning there wasn't sufficient parking near my room. Previously the owner told me to park anywhere, so I did. While unpacking the back of my ute, the owner came out and accused me of urinating in the bushes, which was absolutely absurd. An awesome day was ruined by this unprofessional person. I do not recommend this accommodation and there is definitely better accommodation and welcoming hosts within the Turangi area.

Stayed here for a few days as the relatives' house was full. Pretty basic accommodation, the room we had was small but comfortable and it was affordable, very clean and tidy. It was quick to heat as well. The shower is fantastic, water pressure is pretty full on. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Whilst our room was small, the shared kitchen and lounge are something else. They're much bigger and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to store your groceries and do some cooking. It is kept spotlesslessly clean and pretty organised. Guests have their own set of cutlery, with the room number shown in the cupboard. Fantastic location, easy walking distance to the shops. The garden is beautiful! And what I loved most about the place , are the cheeky tuis who kept me entertained with their lovely singing and cheeky fights.

This lovely motel just doesn't change, always spotlessly clean, warm, friendly owner and best of all, walking distance to some of the best trout fishing in the world. I pulled 8 trout out of the bridge pool over 3 days, all over 50cm and nice shiny fresh out of the lake fish in top condition.

Pleasant private rooms, yet still under 100/night - it's not surprising it's often booked up. Lovely old-fashioned lounge, complete with free pool table. Free wifi throughout the complex, which was fast at first, but that frequently we were unable to connect to throughout the evening. The bathrooms are quite narrow, but I found there to be plenty of room and much prefer the space to be used for a bigger bedroom anyway. The bigger issue was that the bathroom door doesn't actually slide across all the way, so if you are sharing a twin room with a friend, one bed has a direct view into the shower! We also wished there was a small side lamp on the bedside table, as the super bright ceiling light was a bit much for relaxing before sleep. Just a 5 minute walk from the centre of town, though a park full of mosaic art. I highly recommend this motel. If my review and photos were helpful to you, please give me a thumbs up Thanks!
