Lovely lake for a swim. Has a couple of nice beaches to relax and dry out on. Beautiful circuit walk through the Bush if that's more your style.

Easy walk with lots of birds. Saw some NZ Robin's which is always pleasant. Saw a dab chick finally! Long drop Bathroom along trail.

Fantastic walk - moderate fitness required, well maintained track all the way round. Round trip (car park and back) took us 90mins. The start of the walk is inconspicuous - be careful not to go past the car park area on the side of SH47. The sign post indicating the start of the walk is not obvious.

This is one of my favourite walks in New Zealand. There is a climb from the road, but it is well worth the effort. The walk around the lake offers views of the lack and a variety of bush.

Stunning part of the country!! We loved this loop track which was well maintained. Only regret was not having enough time here.

Great little track, doesn't take long to get round and it's flat. Heard an awesome frog chorus coming from the lake

2 hour walk at a slow pace, took me 90 mins at a medium pace with a few stops. Good easy track though lots of foliage so might be a bit slippery after heavy rain. Peaceful walk that’s mostly covered with moments on the lakeside ‘beach’ . Think I saw some Grey ducks or grey/mallard cross. A great walk for families!
