An unused train station? Why do no trains stop here? Auckland seriously needs some better city planners.

If you're catching the Northern Explorer towards Wellington and want to take a bus from the city, catch the 755 that arrives at 6:49 am at The Strand by Cotesmore Way. Then, walk through into the lane into the train station.
Went to old heritage listed building to catch train. No signs on entrance saying closed an now apartment block. No signs saying how to get to the right platform. Catch an uber from hotel easier. Shame they sold off this lovely original station Needs to be at britomart.
Don’t know why there are so many low ratings for the station. It’s perfect. You arrive, hop on your train and leave. Exactly what a train station should do.
This is not a train station but a bus shelter. No facilities here. There has to be a reason for such a temporary facility. No explanation given.
A average station. It honestly should be renovated and reopened as it is within close proximity to Spark Arena. It is quite far out of town though especially after a long train ride from Wellington. There is onsite parking for riders and short term.
Easy to get dropped off or picked up from the Northern Explorer.
The Northern Explorer is a spectacular trip to Wellington, passing through lots of scenic sites in between. However this station is a fair way away from Auckland CBD (30-40 minutes walk), Britomart would have been far easier to get to from the CBD (not to mention a key hub for public transport).
