Had car serviced here, insisted it needed a full service and quoted a fairly high price, but possible for a full service. Came back and was charged more than the quote, also failed to note brake issues and wheel alignment issues that I've now had to pay extra to correct and broke the dipstick for the oil which was fine the week before going there. Have since found out their version of a full service was a basic at most other mechanics and was seriously over charged! Owner denies all of this and claims no wrong done.

Fantastic, friendly service. I urgently needed a repair to my rear brake light unit. I rang Sears at 7am this morning to ask if they could fix the car so that it could be used in a driving test at 9am. They told me to bring it in straight away, and they fixed it on the spot while I waited (the garage was fully booked with other cars, so they went out of their way to accommodate my urgent request). At the end of it, the guy that did the repair (I think he was the owner) refused to charge me! Brilliant service, and I definitely recommend them !

Had my head gasket done here. Paid over 3000 and took nearly 2 weeks. Returned my car with the engine light on and they were adamant that it was already on before I took it in. Which is not the case! Started leaking oil and burning on the exhaust causing smoke to come from the engine about a week later and when I took it back they said nothings wrong and it’s just oil from the work that’s been done and it should go away within a few days. About a month later it’s still smoking and getting worse took it back and they said it’s an old issue before they did work on my car and it’s not their problem. I went to get a second opinion and when I explained to them that they had said it’s an old issue the 2nd mechanics said it would be impossible for them to fix the head gasket without fixing the whole thing & couldn’t understand why they would do that. So I ended up paying over 900 to fix their botched job. Clearly felt taken advantage of, would never return here and surprised they even have customers.
