Nachos were plentiful and tasty, and exactly what I was looking for. Went well with the fat toad ale. Bar staff were delightful and helpful. I hadn't been in for a while as the staff used to be much less welcoming, but I am very glad to have gone there today. I will be back.

Pleasant surprise! I live close to here but hadn't got around to visiting, glad I did. Beer, food and entertainment! It's a about the simple pleasures in life.

We didn't mind waiting 45min for our meal but we did mind that our shared meal of nachos was all just a big bowl corn chips with minimal mince with no flavor. The staff were lovely and doing the best they could, and we got a 20 refund for the bowl of chips as we didn't eat the meal. Very disappointed we left hungry.

Lovely bar on the Mapua wharf with tasty in-house brewed beer. Food was yummie with good veggie choices too. Maker sure you also bike the Taste Trail too, such a great activity.

Bought beer to take away. Was good quality. Bar looked like a good place to have a drink by the river.
