Love love love the creative art work & the bicycle racks....tho I did notice they were full so I wonder if more are needed?
It is compact, easy to navigate and a stroll away from city center. Not much in the way of amenities or facilities.
It's a train station
A well equipped and helpful station with a convenient little coffee shop too. However the design of the newly refurbished toilets within the station is more typically used in high vandalism areas with the fixed seat design and poor aiming of some patrons rendering them unpleasant to use.
Easy access and in great condition..
I don't live in Wellington. But I had to get to my accommodation in the CBD from a friend's in Porirua. I knew there was gonna be an issue with getting on. And there was. Ticket office was closed (fair enough). But there was no automated ticketing system and apparently they would only accept cash on the train (it's 2020 in a few days). So naturally I had to miss the train, carry my luggage over to New World; buy some lollies so I could get cash out; then waltz back on over. Public transport is always like this though so... I'll give you an extra star.
I tried to park at 10am....not one space in the car park left.....had to go to Linden instead. Why cannot the extra spare piece of land be made in to a car park....it is locked up doing nothing....help the people out that work late / evening shifts.
