A bit of a steep climb from the bottom to the Kowhai tree then the gradient becomes easier from just past the Kowhai tree. The views are amazing from the top on a clear day. Also great place to watch the sunrise from the top. Access to other walks and huts from top of Bullock track. A bit challenging on the way down. But the views are worth the sore thighs the next day

The Cook Strait

This is a walk for the fit. For a challenge, turn on your pedometer and try for an SAS entry test pace. No I didn't achieve it but apart from the bovine advances, I'm no good with cows, they hate me and chase me, it is a memorable incline with views you work for.

一路陡上有些吃力，來回約4小時，一開始路線標示的不是很清楚，有些閘門要自己手動打開，走到上面視野開闊，可以眺望Roxburgh小鎮及遠處雪山，沿路有牛、羊及野兔作伴，走到上面風會慢慢變大，注意防風。
