Excellent and honest mechanic! My Ford completely broke down and i got a tow to autoworld to get it fixed. Grant quickly realized the fault was possibly covered by Ford (which it was) which saved me a lot of . They also kept my immobile car safe for me until ultimate motors had space to repair my car which was a good week’s wait. Highly recommend!

Not a happy customer!! Firstly, my partner went in store to ask to have our car looked at. Receptionist was on the phone and asked him to wait so he sat and was waiting until another man walked in, to which he stood behind the man talking to the receptionist and waited his turn but when she finished helping this man, she picked up the phone again and told him someone else will come see him soon so he left. I went back to get a diagnostic and he couldn't tell us exactly what it was but said I could leave it for a night or two so he could do a few tests. Two days later I get a call saying its fixed (only wanted a quote) and costs so and so much and we had to pay before we could take the car. All he done was cleaned the throttle body and charged 121.33!! I could have done that myself for 12. THE WORST PART IS WE HAVE OUR CAR BACK "FIXED" AND IT WILL NOT START!! My partner and I have 4 children, two of our children (one of which has had two heart surgeries) and both me and my partner have frequent hospital visits and our car is essential! EDIT AFTER REPLY car did not start when my partner first attempted after picking it up and you heard it, ran out and asked if it was doing it again. Then when my partner tried starting it again it was a bit rough before actually starting so you said to go for a ride and it should come right, we went for a ride to the mount where we were stuck for a good while before we managed to get it to start, got it home and now almost every time we try start the car it does not start and when it does it runs rough. Overall I asked for a diagnostic/quote and two days later you called saying its fixed yet its come back to us running worse than when we brought it in.

I came into Grant’s shop after he’d closed on a Saturday to ask if I could borrow a tool to get a broken piece of oil cap out of my engine. Grant came down to my house and helped me remove the valve cover to retrieve the piece. My family and I were about to leave for a trip to Auckland, I can’t express my gratitude enough for the help, we would have been absolutely stuck without him. 10/10 would recommend.
