Good choice of beer on tap. Happy hour beers are priced up to 9 which is what a beer should cost normally. Some of the lower alcohol beers are cheaper but then who wants to drink 4% craft beer? Some of the menu items certainly don’t warrant their price tag, such as the happy hour garlic bread for 10, get a pizza instead. Brew Bar has lovely staff but when you’re getting pub food at restaurant prices it’s a 3 star experience.
Dinner was pretty good, if not very plain. I got the steak, it was literally a plain piece of steak, some lettuce and tomato, and a bowl of mashed potatoes. Steak was well cooked but otherwise it wad a pretty boring looking meal. The brownie for dessert, though.... wow. It was amazing.

Reasonable prices for nice food. Great pizza. Huge meals good value for money. Pork belly dish very good.
Whats not to like? Great range of beers. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Everything a bar needs wrapped up in a fantastic location on the downtown Tauranga waterfront.
My wife and I really liked the lunches. Duck taco's and calamari salad. Fantastic service. Friendly waitress.
