Fabulous customer service. Explained well about the products being offered at the shop and why they set special in term of tea products. They have lots of varieties of tea to choose from. Recommended of your seeking for specialise tea. Go have a try.

I've been to Teasme South City many a time and they never fail to disappoint. There is always a staff member on hand to help you with your choice and any questions you might have. The menu is extensive with a range of teas with various prices. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The prices are in my mind reasonable for what you get. You get an option of hot or cold and they have a smaller menu of all their teas at the counter if you aren't sure what you want. There are many extras including Coffee jelly, Boba pearls and many more options to add to your drink. Once you order a staff member usually makes your drink straight away. There are small straws and large ones designed for teas with pearls in them. In the South City branch they also sell many teas and tea making accessories. They also sell branded tea pots. Am currently in store. The sign said be back in 3-5 minutes. Two other women were waiting with me. The one server did not come back from break for 20 minutes. She then proceeded to prepare all her online orders in a rush before even greeting us. It was 35 minutes BEFORE my order was even taken. It has now been 40 minutes and I am regretting my order. Great product, horrific service.

Best place to go get iced tea (only second to Teasme church corner). Lovely selection of green and black teas, however not always the most knowledgeable staff. Went in looking for my partner's favourite green tea (Jade Butterfly) a few months back and was promptly told it didn't exist...funny to see it on the shelves again today. So go for the tea selection and delicious iced tea, but don't expect knowledgeable input from staff.

As a lactose intolerance I was bit worried about but I had absolutely no problem after drinking a macha tea .they use gluten free power milk but they seem lactose free as well

No dairy alternatives :( , nice texture for pearls but not flavor at all so I didnt enjoyed the topping. Nice and quick service

Teasme is one of the best tea shops in Christchurch. They serve a variety of options whether you want something light cold and refreshing or a nice warm herbal tea, they have it all. The customer service at Teasme South City is truly the most kind and genuine staff ever. They are always so welcoming and always happy to share their suggestions of what beverage you may like or not. I appreciate the honesty above all and the welcoming vibes they give off. Definitely worth a try, I can not get enough of this place. Its too good!
