Called in to Volcanic Hills after doing the zip line for a few wines. The owner greeted us and was awesome to deal with, really knew about his wines, gins and whiskeys and made the wine tasting a great experience. Highly recommend you call in if you are in Rotorua

so far the best service we got out of all the places we went for wine tasting. the place has nice and comfortable seats with nice overlooking view of rotorua. nice wines especially the chardonnay and staff were great and really friendly.

The wine tasting was such a lovely day out. The views, the wine, the food (highly recommend the potato wedges), the ambience was all fantastic. Johnny was a fantastic host with not only great knowledge about wines, but also such a funny sense of humour - he made our time there.

Was very much excited to try different wines and asked the for the wine menu. They pushed back saying that it’s not a cafe and they are busy at the moment for wine tasting even tho there were empty tables. Please say no to such stereotype staffs in this places. I will give 2stars for the view.
