After visiting GP today I was advised script would be faxed to pharmacy. After receiving a txt that script was ready to collect I went to the pharmacy. There was a queue of at least 15 people waiting for scripts. Some had tried 2-3 times this week but gave up waiting. A lady in the queue with a bad back gave up waiting for her elderly mothers script. She would try for the third time tomorrow!! Thankfully it was a dry day.Who wants to stand in the rain? What about elderly people having to wait? Everyone had received a txt saying come & collect script but the process for collecting needs reviewing. Not my problem that the Pharmacist was alone. If you wish to provide a service pay staff to work alongside you. After 45 minutes I got my script. I appreciate it’s level 2 & as an essential health worker I understand the precautions but treating people like this was appalling.

Good people. Good range. Great advice. They charge 3 extra for the fax fee on a prescription which I think is a bit off. It puts me off spending more money with them because it’s annoying...

I have been a client of this pharmacy for about 5 years and until about 12 months ago had never had a major problem, o.k. they wanted to save money if they didn't have all my legally postable meds by saying that they would not post them. So it certainly pays to check that they will have all of your medicine there, especially if you are 40 minutes away like I am and don't drive a lot and for mobility and distance reasons want to get the whole damn lot at once....... The dispute is in relation to over charging 12 months ago and recently I took the dispute to the Health and Disability Commission. I also had a several month delay getting my print offs from this pharmacy for all the meds etc the last 5 years or so. However to be fair to the pharmacy I'm giving them a 3 star rating today. Some years ago I gave a 5 star and then with the dispute scaled it down to just 1 star but one needs to adjust for the course of time. However a recent letter from the owner basically implied that they didn't want to supply me with pharmaceuticals which seems unfair as I've done nothing wrong having just questioned things and written letters with them which is my right of expression and all along I've been informed by them that I could contact the Health and Disability Commission. What if I need essential medicine in a hurry, its convenient as my doctor is in the same building complex?
