We had the most amazing time at Jack’s Hut! It is a beautiful secluded spot close to lake Tarawera, ideal for a romantic get away. The hut has everything you need, a comfy bed and the decoration has some wonderful attention to detail. And not to forget the outside hot tub from which you can gaze at the stars at night. Highly recommend this place!

Absolute bliss! We loved staying here and soaking in the hot tub, reading books on the deck and cooking on the BBQ. Fantastic friendly hosts, you won't regret your stay!

Jacks hut is the most amazing place to visit! Such a romantic getaway. There is nothing better than sitting on the outdoor swing with a cheese board and a glass of wine. Dave and Angie were amazing and really friendly. We will be regulars each year as we didn’t want to leave so will be looking forward to getting away each year to enjoy the spa, fishing and great company.

Great little spot for a peaceful getaway. Very clean, tidy, private and relaxing. A beautiful view of the lake during the day and a great deck to.star watch at night time. Highly recommended and wonderful hosts.

We absolutely loved our stay, the hut was snuggly, the outdoor bath was devine, watching the deer was fantastic entertainment all within walking distance to the lake.... Thankyou very much

Fab place to stay! Tucked away from the world with lovely hosts. Loved the hut and its history and the cedar bath is perfect for a relaxing night. Will be back for sure!
