The Gore motor camp grounds were very neat lawn mown trees mature a pleasant outdoor feel. But what let the camp down was the ablution block. Toilet shower O. K. Tile floor O.K but needed a spring clean. Oh dear kitchen was very old and needed urgent attention. One old coach, ranges were tip material. T. V. was ready to toss as well. Flooring deplorable. Receptionist very friendly. Defiantly not value for money 45 for a powered site. Come on Gore spruce up for your visitors and for the sake of the lovely botanical surroundings...

The worst place I have ever stayed at homeless drinking from the tap with no cup, disgusting facilities and rude staff. Seem to care more about the non-paying customers than the private paying ones. freedom camping is definitely worth it in Gore, especially if this is what they call a campsite!! Wouldn’t let my kids out of my sight for their safety with the clientele on-site.
Lovely camp ground and welcoming hosts
this motor camp is disgusting. Seems to have deteriorated over the years to the point where I won't go there again. pot holes in drive, cobwebs on windows, paint peeling, TV at least 40 years old, Ovens cant be used and prices way to high!!
Very helpful and happy lady who helped us. We arrived in gore at 9.24pm and only by luck the lady was more than happy to have us stay at the holiday park for the evening. This late at night you are insanely lucky to find somewhere to stay so this was a huge relief. Kitchen facility was homely. The bathrooms were dated but still well presented and equipped for guests. Thank you for having us
Dirty, run down rooms. Will never stay here again
Very friendly and funny hosts. The campground is great for a couple of days. Highly recommend
Probably the least thrilling motor camp we stayed in during our tip around the south island.
